Evergreen City Ballet “Adopt-a-School” Program

Evergreen City Ballet invites you, your business, organization or PTA to join the Adopt-a-School Program

Budget cuts faced by local school districts mean fewer opportunities for children to be exposed to the arts. You can make a difference in their lives. Through our Dance ALIVE! education program, ECB has become one of the most important resources for teachers, principals and parents in south King County. Since its inception in 2008, more than 3,300 elementary school children have been exposed to the art of dance through our in-school presentations, at no cost to them or the schools.

Teachers, administrators and children have been unanimous in their praise of Dance ALIVE!  Here’s what they say:

“This is great for our kids. We have such a diverse population and a lot of these kids live in poverty. ECB is exposing them to something they would never have experienced otherwise.”

The ECB Adopt-a-School Program costs just $450 per school. Sponsors can adopt one or more elementary schools in these districts:

Renton, Tahoma, Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Tukwila.

All contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law and will support ECB’s education programs and administration.

All children in theDance ALIVE! program are also eligible to purchase reduced tickets for our open dress rehearsals for themselves and their families..

Your gift insures that Evergreen City Ballet will continue to provide high quality arts education for our youth.
