SUMMER

INTENSIVE

JULY 12 - AUGUST 6, 2021

Why dance at ECB this summer?

ECB offers an affordable, high-quality training experience for students seeking a rigorous and well-rounded approach to improving their technique and artistry. Ballet and pointe technique classes include live piano accompaniment. Our unique 4-week program includes jazz, modern, contemporary, improvisation, choreography, seminars, and other holistic somatic approaches. Each day starts with a 2-hour ballet technique class followed by additional classes. The weekly schedule consists of 6.5 hours of dancing, Monday thru Friday, with a 15-minute break and a 30-minute lunch break.

There are only 16 in-person spots per group: Advanced (ages 13+) and Intermediate (ages 13+). Students will be placed in a group that best suits their age, experience, and ability. Level placement is at the sole discretion of the Artistic Director. Past guest faculty include professional dancers from Pacific Northwest Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Whim W'him, and many more.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy for the Summer Intensive is different from our regular policy during the regular school year. Summer Intensive classes are limited to only 16 students per group (Advanced and Intermediate) and are first-come, first-served. You can cancel and receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable $35 registration fee, within 5 days of registering by sending an email to officeadmin@evergreencityballet.org.

We will not be able to offer refunds once the intensive has started. You will also lose your spot once you cancel and we will give it to someone else to take. ECB does not allow for make-up classes and cannot be held responsible for classes canceled due to circumstances beyond our control such as weather, power outages, or other forces of nature.

The health and safety of our community are our top priority. We have compiled resources related to COVID-19.
