Ballet V

In Ballet V, students continue their pre-professional ballet training with an increased focus on strength, artistry, and technical precision. Dancers will refine their advanced ballet vocabulary while developing greater control, stamina, and confidence in pointework and complex center combinations. Students will be challenged with more intricate turns, jumps, and adagio work as they continue to build their performance quality and musicality. Ballet V serves as the final step in preparing dedicated dancers for the opportunity to be invited to audition for the Performance Division. At this level, students continue to expand their artistic versatility through additional dance genres, such as Contemporary and Tap, and participate in multiple performances throughout the year while demonstrating the discipline, commitment, and excellence expected of advanced dancers. Placement is required for all students.
