I am honored to serve as Parent Guild President for Evergreen City Ballet (ECB), especially beginning in 2023, which is ECB’s 30th Anniversary! Though my daughter, Leelu, has been dancing since she was 3 years old, we are relatively new to the ECB community. Leelu participated in ECB’s 2020 Summer Intensive and we’ve never looked back.
I have a strong appreciation for the arts, dance in particular, and feel fortunate that ECB is part of our local community, providing premium dance instruction. I enjoy volunteering behind the scenes for Wade Walthall’s The Nutcracker and other productions, supporting the dancers and production team members. I helped coordinate the move to ECB’s current location in 2022, which has increased the school’s visibility to the community. ECB’s community is strong and thriving and I look forward to leading the Parent Guild to provide support to ECB dancers and staff as the school moves forward into the next 30 years!
