"Evergreen City Ballet has been an incredible journey for our family. The nurturing environment and exceptional training have allowed our son to flourish both as a dancer and as an individual. We have seen remarkable growth in his skills and confidence, and we couldn't be happier with the positive impact this school has had on our lives and the surrounding Seattle area community."

Season 2024/2025 – Gratitude and Growth

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Funders,

As we close the curtain on our 2024/2025 season, I write to you with immense gratitude and pride. In my second year as Artistic Director of Evergreen City Ballet, we have continued to reach new heights, artistically, educationally, and as a community. Your generous support and unwavering trust have been instrumental in every step of this journey.

Join the ECB Family

If you’ve supported us before, we ask you to continue walking beside us. If you’re new to our mission, this is a beautiful moment to join. Your support uplifts our dancers, fuels their dreams, and strengthens the cultural fabric of our community.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in our work. I look forward to celebrating more milestones together, with passion, purpose, and dance.

Warmest regards,

Maximiliano Guerra

Thanks to your accompaniment, ECB has flourished:

  • We proudly reintroduced a live orchestra for our beloved The Nutcracker, elevating the production to a level of excellence shared by only two schools in the region. The audience response was overwhelming, and the experience was transformative for our students.

  • Our Black Box Theatre performances showcased emerging choreographic voices and sold out both nights, affirming the power of innovation and intimacy in dance.

  • We launched the first Evergreen International Dance Festival, welcoming over 15 local schools and three professional companies, an unprecedented initiative in our area.

  • ECB was honored at Dance Open America in Miami, where I had the privilege of engaging with legendary Natalia Makarova. ECB stood proudly as a leading institution of the Pacific Northwest.

  • Our collaboration with Newport High School Orchestra for Hansel & Gretel brought another wave of artistic success and community engagement.

  • I was invited to restage my Don Quixote with Stuttgart Ballet, placing ECB on the European dance map and opening doors for future international collaborations.

  • We awarded UNESCO-endorsed International Certificates to our Pre-Professional Program students, affirming our commitment to global standards in dance education.

  • We closed the season with a powerful Season Finale at the Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center, celebrating our students and welcoming the broader community.

Introducing the ECB Annual Fund

To continue this momentum, I am thrilled to announce the opening of our Annual Fund. Your past contributions have helped us bridge the 35% gap between tuition and the true cost of training our dancers. This year, your generosity raised $35,000, allowing us to enrich our Wardrobe Department, been able to have seminars on Mental Helth for high performance artists enhancing safety and professionalism for all, and gave us the possibility to perform and be present on the most important local festivals allowing us a brother presence in the dance industry of the PNW. As well the acquisition of new barres for our new Studio C.

As we look ahead to the 2025/2026 season, we invite you to help us reach our new goal of $70,000. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us:

  • Provide scholarships for students in need

  • Maintain and improve our facilities

  • Support innovative programming and collaborations

  • Continue nurturing the next generation of artists
