In September 2023, Evergreen City Ballet (ECB) will kick off its 30th Anniversary season.

Our ECB community, brought together by founding Artistic Director, Wade Walthall, supports our youth as they develop into skilled dancers and kind, empathetic adults.

Now, more than ever, the youth in South King County need the kind of supportive environment that ECB provides. It’s a place where kids can be themselves and take risks with the type of support that matters.

It takes one heck of a village to keep a small non-profit arts organization like ECB afloat for 30 years.  Reaching this milestone anniversary requires the collective commitment of this entire community…dancers, parents, alumni, alum parents, teachers, staff, board members past and present, audience members, donors, and corporate sponsors.

Every person plays an important role and we need the entire ECB community to support our dancers year-after-year.

EVERY Annual Fund donation, no matter the size, makes a difference!
Will you join ECB's 30th anniversary celebration by
donating to the Annual Fund?

“I highly recommend Evergreen City Ballet. It is truly the best ballet studio. My daughter has been training here for eight years, since she was three years old. She loves to dance at ECB so much, and is always excited to continue training here. All of the faculty are amazing! They give dancers top-notch classical ballet training and create a healthy dance environment. ECB also offers many performance opportunities to dancers including young ones. I'm happy to see my daughter and all the other dancers thriving beautifully at this studio. ECB is not only a ballet studio, but also a community. All the staff and families here are very warm and kind. This is a great place for ANYBODY who loves to dance!”

- Hiromi, Level IV ECB parent

The ECB Annual Fund will help fill the 25% funding gap between tuition and the cost to train our dancers for the year, including scholarships, tuition assistance, as well as facility improvement projects.

As the South King County Region grows and the cost of living and business operating costs rise, it’s more important than ever that we seek consistent financial support from our community to ensure accessibility to pre-professional ballet education in South King County.

The inaugural ‘23/’24 Annual Fund will provide funding for a brand new, top-of-the-line marley dance floor in Studio B and increased staff pay, which are critical for retaining ECB’s incredible teachers and providing a safe, professional environment for dancers and staff alike.

To usher ECB into its next 30 years, we’re launching the Evergreen City Ballet Annual Fund.

Our goal is to raise $60,000 to make the ‘23/’24 school year the best ECB has ever had.

All gifts, no matter the size, make a difference and help us fill the tuition gap.

We’ve set ambitious goals because the ECB dancers deserve this kind of support. We hope we can count on you to give generously to ensure ECB will serve our young dancers for another 30 years!

With Gratitude,

Elizabeth Rogers, ECB Board of Directors Fundraising Chair
