Why dance at ECB this summer?
ECB offers an affordable, high-quality summer intensive training experience for students (ages 13+) seeking a rigorous and well-rounded approach to improving their technique and artistry. Ballet and pointe technique classes include live piano accompaniment. Our unique 4-week program includes jazz, modern, contemporary, improvisation, choreography, seminars, and other holistic somatic approaches. Each day starts with a 2-hour ballet technique class followed by additional supplemental classes. The weekly schedule consists of 6 hours of dancing per day, Monday thru Friday, with a 15-minute break and a 30-minute lunch break.
There is a limited amount of space per week! Acceptance into this program is at the sole discretion of the artistic staff. Past guest faculty include professional dancers from Pacific Northwest Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Whim W'him, and many more.

Intensive Location
Our Summer Intensive will be held at our studios in the heart of downtown Renton — 1300 Bronson Way N, Renton, WA 98057. Our facility features three studios with full-length mirrors and sprung floors, a large lobby, offices, a breakroom for dancers, and storage for our costumes & sets.
Auditions
In-person auditions are held at our ECB studios every Saturday, starting January 10, from 12:00pm-2:00pm. You will need to fill out the audition form and pay the $20 drop-in class rate. Space is limited, so please click here to reserve your spot ahead of time.
Video auditions may also be submitted. Videos may be sent via email to summer@evergreencityballet.org. Please see the submission guidelines here.

Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy for the Summer Intensive is different from our regular policy during the regular school year. Space in our Summer Intensive is limited and is first-come, first-served. You can cancel and receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable $55 registration fee, within 5 days of registering by sending an email to officeadmin@evergreencityballet.org.
We will not be able to offer refunds once the intensive has started. You will also lose your spot once you cancel and we will give it to someone else to take. ECB does not allow for make-up classes and cannot be held responsible for classes canceled due to circumstances beyond our control such as weather, power outages, or other forces of nature.
