Here are some useful information to get the best experience out of our summer intensive this year!

  • Daily technique classes begin promptly at 9:00am. Please arrive early (15-30 minutes) to give yourself ample time to change, warm up, and store your personal belonging away before entering your assigned studio. Ask for permission to enter your scheduled class if you are more than 5 minutes late.

  • Check the call board everyday! You will receive a printed copy of your class schedule on your first day. But please make sure to check the call board, located by the front desk, to stay up to date on any changes or new information.

  • Eat a healthy breakfast. Your body needs fuel to give you energy for an entire day of dancing. Proper and good nutrition is part of your growth, development, and success as a dancer. Check out our meal ideas!

  • Make friends and create memories. Generations of dancers who've attended our summer intensives and have made lifelong friends. Take this opportunity to introduce yourself and get to know your peers. Remember, that you share a common passion for dance and the art of ballet.

  • Studio etiquette. No bullying. No running inside or outside. No yelling. No talking in class -- raise your hand if you have a question. Clean up after yourself. Cover your coughs and sneezes.

  • Dress code. Please carefully review our dress code. Be prepared and bring extra leotards, tights, dance belts, soft shoes, pointe shoes, and non-marking shoes.

  • ECB Market. We offer a selection of light snacks and bottled water at our studio market by the front desk. Please bring cash to purchase items. Please drop your payment in the small, gray payment box on the wall.

  • Bring your lunch. Sit outside in our courtyard and enjoy lunch with your new friends. Take photos and tag us on Instagram at @evergreencityballet.

  • Hydrate. Make sure you drink enough water throughout the day.

  • Enjoy every moment. Our summer intensive offers a variety of classes that will challenge your technique and artistry. You will like some classes more than others, and that's OK. Make sure to challenge yourself and step outside of your comfort zone. Dance is fleeting, so make the best of it.

  • Stay connected. If you need to be reached by your parent(s) or your guardian(s), please have them call our office at 425.228.6800. For non-urgent matters, please send an email to
