Hello ECB,

I hope that you all got to enjoy the sunshine on Saturday!

 I ❤️ ECB Class Competition

Dear ECB Families,

You still can be the WINNER! I've decided to extend the I ❤️ ECB Class Competition to next Saturday, March 8th!

We know how much you all love ECB, and this is the perfect time to express your gratitude. Help us by being the first class-level to complete your donation in the I ❤️ ECB Competition. See the attached fly for all the prize details and the chart below for each class's progress toward 100% participation.

All donations, no matter the size, support ECB's mission to share the joy of ballet with your child and their peers. It is a privilege for the instructors at ECB to be part of your child's growth and development.

Thank you for your continuous support and let’s keep aiming for excellence together!

Warmly and thankfully,

Mr. Max

ECB’s  very own Festival: Evergreen International Dance Festival

Hello Dancers and Families,

Evergreen City Ballet is thrilled to announce the inaugural season of the Evergreen International Dance Festival(EIDF)! This event will celebrate dance from various cultures and states, bringing together a rich tapestry of performances. This is a great opportunity to learn from business professionals and have a Celebration of Dance. It’s wonderful to see an event that not only showcases incredible talent but also provides an educational opportunity for dancers to learn from seasoned professionals.

We are delighted to inform you that tickets are now available through OTS. Join us in supporting this new and vibrant event where ECB dancers will perform alongside other esteemed schools and professional companies such as "Khambatta Dance Company", "Spectrum Dance Theatre", and "MS+A".

This blend of artistry and learning is sure to make the Evergreen International Dance Festival a memorable experience for everyone involved.

We look forward to seeing you there and sharing the joy of dance with all of you!

Mr. Max

Celebrating Black History Month

As Black History Month comes to a close, we'd like to honor dance luminary, Judith Jamison, who passed away on November 9, 2024. Jamison became a prolific member of the groundbreaking Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 1965, and went on to become the company's artistic director in 1989 at Alvin Ailey's request that she succeed him and carry on the legacy. She continued in this role until her retirement in 2011, and during that time, she shepherded the company to incredible new levels of success. Take a moment to watch this brief tribute to Judith Jamison on The View this past week featuring current Ailey dancer, Constance Stamatiou, performing "Cry". "Cry" was originally choreographed on Jamison by Alvin Ailey himself as a birthday present for his mother and dedicated "to all Black women everywhere—especially our mothers."
