SUMMER

INTENSIVE

JULY 11 - AUGUST 5, 2022

Why dance at ECB this summer?

ECB offers an affordable, high-quality training experience for students seeking a rigorous and well-rounded approach to improving their technique and artistry. Ballet and pointe technique classes include live piano accompaniment. Our unique 4-week program includes jazz, modern, contemporary, improvisation, choreography, seminars, and other holistic somatic approaches. Each day starts with a 2-hour ballet technique class followed by additional supplemental classes. The weekly schedule consists of 6.5 hours of dancing, Monday thru Friday, with a 15-minute break and a 30-minute lunch break.

There is a limited amount of space per week! Acceptance into this program is at the sole discretion of the artistic staff. Past guest faculty include professional dancers from Pacific Northwest Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Whim W'him, and many more.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy for the Summer Intensive is different from our regular policy during the regular school year. Space in our Summer Intensive is limited and is first-come, first-served. You can cancel and receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable $35 registration fee, within 5 days of registering by sending an email to officeadmin@evergreencityballet.org.

We will not be able to offer refunds once the intensive has started. You will also lose your spot once you cancel and we will give it to someone else to take. ECB does not allow for make-up classes and cannot be held responsible for classes canceled due to circumstances beyond our control such as weather, power outages, or other forces of nature.

COVID-19 Resources

The health and safety of our community are our top priority. We have compiled resources related to COVID-19. We have also included our Face Mask and COVID-19 policies, aligned with the Washington State Department of Health. We have heightened cleaning and disinfecting procedures, new lobby rules, and daily wellness checks upon arrival. Everyone must adhere to our policies to help give our staff, students, and families a safe summer intensive experience.
